lol! yes I did,I said,YA books :) what does YA stand for? It stands for young adult...That's what I am, a young adult,so of course I have read YA books! I love YA books! I probably will read them even when I am not a "young adult" any longer.
So here are some YA books I have read and a little about them:
Gwyneth must now unearth the mystery of why her mother would lie about her birth date to ward off suspicion about her ability, brush up on her history, and work with Gideon --- the time traveler from a similarly gifted family that passes the gene through its male line, and whose presence becomes, in time, less insufferable and more essential. Together, Gwyneth and Gideon journey through time to discover who, in the 18th century and in contemporary London, they can trust.
Now the second book in the Ruby Red trilogy, SAPPHIRE BLUE, is out!
Gwen’s life has been a roller coaster since she discovered she was the Ruby, the final member of the secret time-traveling Circle of Twelve. In between searching through history for the other time-travelers and asking for a bit of their blood (gross!), she’s been trying to figure out what all the mysteries and prophecies surrounding the Circle really mean.
At least Gwen has plenty of help. Her best friend Lesley follows every lead diligently on the Internet. James the ghost teaches Gwen how to fit in at an eighteenth century party. And Xemerius, the gargoyle demon who has been following Gwen since he caught her kissing Gideon in a church, offers advice on everything. Oh, yes. And of course there is Gideon, the Diamond. One minute he’s very warm indeed; the next he’s freezing cold. Gwen’s not sure what’s going on there, but she’s pretty much destined to find out.
These are one my most recent Ya books I have read,I love them! and I am anxiously awaiting the next book to the series that sadly doesn't come out until next year,in the fall!
Forget everything you ever knew about unicorns...

These books were definitely something I would not ordinarily read but I though I would give them a try,turns out they are pretty good! My thoughts about unicorns have changed,big time!

Over the course of the novel, Mattie will experience intense personal loss and come face-to-face with death. She must also fight the tide of panic and fear raging in the city – and within herself. To win the battle, Mattie has to muster every ounce of her courage, strength, and morality. A true test of who she is, the fever will become one of the defining moments of Mattie's life.
Anidori-Kiladra Talianna Isilee, Crown Princess of Kildenree, spends the first years of her life under her aunt's guidance learning to communicate with animals. As she grows up Ani develops the skills of animal speech, but is never comfortable speaking with people, so when her silver-tongued lady-in-waiting leads a mutiny during Ani's journey to be married in a foreign land, Ani is helpless and cannot persuade anyone to assist her. Becoming a goose girl for the king, Ani eventually uses her own special, nearly magical powers to find her way to her true destiny.
And the list could go on and on but I won't bore you any longer!
