Stuck

So I have never really understood poetry that much but I wrote my first real little poem and I now kind of understand it better.



                                                               Day after day,
                                                            I sit here thinking,
                                                                 wondering,
                                                    Will I always be stuck here,
                                                           in this everyday life?
                                                         So boring it is here,
                                             I am surrounded by so many people,
                                                            yet I am so alone,
                                                               I want to go,
                                                           I want to be free,
                                                                     stuck,
                                                                   so stuck,
                                                                  I scream,
                                                                     I cry,
                                                             I turn on a light,
                                                                     I sit,
                                                                   I read,
                                                             I finally escape.
